Virginia Walker will have four guest poets discuss the role of the poet today and read their own poetry to illustrate. George Held of Sag Harbor, Gladys Henderson of Nesconset, Robert Savino of West Islip, and Lila Zemborain of Shelter Island are all distinguished poets. Virginia Walker has been the facilitator for the Art/Rich Poetry Roundtable on Shelter Island and is the co-author, along with Michael Walsh, of Neuron Mirror, a poetry book which raised $10,700 for the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research and Cure.
