Night at the Museum: “Día de los Muertos”
Saturday, October 30th, 2021
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
at The Shelter Island History Center
16 South Ferry Road, Shelter Island, NY 11964
Ages 6-10 (Under 6 welcome with parent/guardian)
COVID distancing will be observed.
Masks are required for all inside.
Limit 30 registrants.
Donations Appreciated
Please bring a photo of a loved one who has passed on so that we may honor them in the tradition of “Día de los Muertos.” Attendees will decorate a frame for their photo and write a small paragraph about their loved one. The Disney film Coco will be shown and discussed.
The Shelter Island Historical Society, a 501 (c) 3 not for profit education organization, was established in 1922 and now owns and operates The Shelter Island History Center. The mission of the Society is the collect, preserve, and share local history through educational events and programs.
