Author Jeffrey Sussman has written two books about boxing champions.  In Max Baer and Barney Ross:  Jewish Heroes of Boxing, Sussman vividly chronicles the careers and lives of two fighters who inspired Jewish fans in a time of widespread anti-Semitism. 

His latest book, Rocky Graziano:  Fists, Fame and Fortune, the first biography of Graziano in over 60 years, tells the dramatic rags-to-riches story of a man raised by an abusive father who became middleweight champion of the world.  

Mr. Sussman will read from both books as well as answer questions.  This talk should fascinate not only boxing fans but also anyone interested in history or inspiring life stories.
